Matthew H. Hunt is a member of the United States Public Health Service at the National Institutes of Health.  He is an environmental engineer within the Sustainability Branch in the Division of Environmental Protection under the Office of Research Facilities.  He is responsible for assisting to implement more sustainable practices at NIH.  His previous work experience includes working with the Food and Drug Administration, as an Investigator focusing on medical device and drug manufacturing facilities, and with Indian Health Service, as an environmental engineer managing water and wastewater construction projects on the Navajo Reservation.  He received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
